Better Worship

Better Worship is a digital resource platform built for a very specific and underserved audience: church worship teams and music leaders who need professional-quality backing tracks, chord charts, and stage media for their weekend services — and need them to be legally licensed, reliably available, and easy to find.

The worship media market has a fragmentation problem. Worship leaders typically cobble together resources from four or five different platforms: one service for backing tracks, another for chord charts, a third for lyric videos, and a fourth for media licensing. This creates a weekly administrative burden for teams that are often volunteer-led and time-poor. Better Worship solves this by consolidating everything into a single platform built specifically for church production workflows.

The audio streaming hub is the core of the platform — a curated library of professional backing tracks that teams can preview, download, or stream directly into their live production setup. Unlike generic music platforms, the library is organised around how worship teams actually work: by key, tempo, genre, and occasion (contemporary, traditional, Christmas, Easter, etc.).

The lyrics and chord database was built with transposition at its core. Worship teams rarely play songs in the key they were originally recorded in — they transpose to suit their vocalists and instrumentalists. The transposition engine recalculates every chord in the chart instantly when you change key, saving teams from manual transposition errors that cause problems mid-service.

Media licensing is handled within the platform, giving teams a clear record of which songs they're licensed to use — critical for churches operating under CCLI or other licensing agreements.
